Subflooring

An often overlooked, and very important component is the subfloor. The subfloor provides the foundation beneath the floor and is the structure that holds hardwood flooring in place. A good subfloor is critical for the longevity of your new floors. We can review any modifications, such as moisture barrier or soundproofing, that you are interested in including.

Moldings

To remove your old floors and install your new floors, the base moldings will need to be removed. You will have the option of keeping the original moldings, but if you want them replaced, this is a perfect opportunity to do so. Moldings are not included with new floors and are completely separate. We can review the details about placing them but you will need to determine the type of moldings you want to match your new flooring.

Finishes
